Change your energy -- Change your life : Focus on brain health -- Aug. 11

Whether you are a student, parent of a special needs child, or caring for an elderly relative, this module will give you some serious hands-on tools to strengthen and support brain energy.? Used regularly, it can increase in academic and behavioral performance, strengthen memory capacity and balance brain energy.

Liza Burney of Heart to Heart Healing, in conjunction with Portland Community College, offers an in-depth Superbrain Yoga? class on two dates ?August 11, 2012, at PCC Sylvania and November 17, 2012 at PCC Willow Creek

Pilot studies on the effects of Superbrain Yoga? on school children include children with disabilities such as ADHD/ADD, developmental and cognitive delays, Down syndrome and specific learning disabilities. Children studied showed significant increase in academic and behavioral performance, greater class participation and improved social skills. In one study, the result of an electroencephalograph showed increased amplitude in the parieto-occipital region of the brain following the Superbrain Yoga?. This indicates increased brain electrical activity following the exercise. More studies on the effects of Superbrain Yoga? are being conducted.?

This introductory class is designed for those who are interested in learning how to develop their skills to assist the healing process for themselves, their family, friends, and pets.? This workshop provides foundational information about our energy anatomy, the energetic assessment process, and how to strengthen and support brain energy.

Participants leave this workshop with a deeper understanding of themselves as instruments of healing; of their role in improving their personal energy level, as well as feeling expanded and balanced brain energy.? The workshop?s interactive and experiential format provides enough supervised practice time for each participant to develop confidence so they can continue to evaluate their energy fields and perform these techniques once they return home.
